Thought to be late mediaeval, much altered in the mid-late C17. Rubble, slate roof,
tiles at rear. Two storeys. Four windows, all original cross casement windows.
L-plan, wing at rear. Later porch, but C17 door and inner door; overhanging eaves.
Interior: good A frame C17 roof over main part. In rear wing, remains of cruck
construction; moulded C17 wall plate and arch-braced collar. Ceiling of ground floor
rear wing has finely moulded mid-C17 cross beams. (See Somerset VAG report in RCHM).
