Barn. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with some brick
dressings, one freestone oculus to east gable end and double Roman tile roof.
Long 8 bay range to courtyard with several C19 segmental headed openings with
plank doors and mounting steps to right hand. 2 large garage entrances to left
hand. 6 bay section to right hand has a butt-purlin, collar and tie roof
structure with 2 wind braces to the west end. Plank partition to bay farthest
east, close set lathing under tiles. All interior features much modified. The
curving roadside wall of the barn with its arrowslit openings forms an important
feature in the streetscape.
