2/4 Winsbury House

House. On ancient site, dated 1781, altered and extended early/mid C19. North,
former entrance, elevation has 3 storeys, 3 windows all in architraves, ground and
first floor have paired sashes flanking at ground blocked entrance and at first
floor a sash, similar pattern all with 6 panes at second floor, cornice, plain
parapet. Return elevation to east has doorcase with broken pediment, swags on
capitals of pilasters, fanlight, this is flanked by 6-pane sashes, above are
2 sashes, that to left in later wing, date plaque, plain pentice balcony in front
of ground floor returns at left around end of hipped later wing, above is a sash
below is a tri-partite French door; beyond this wing 2 windows of main block show
sashes in architraves under drips, cornice, parapet.
