House. MidCl6th. Rubble; double Roman tiled roof. Single storey and attics.
4 bays: C20th 2-light casement windows; blocked central doorway; C20th doorway
to left. Interior: stop chamfered beams with stop chamfered joists at west end;
to east end is a break in the joists, possibly the position of a former ladder.
4 tie and collar beam trusses (collar beams removed) with purlins. Rare
documentary evidence refers to a messuage in the 12th year of Queen Elizabeth's
reign, that is 1570; unusual for such a vernacular building.
