Winding engine house. Mid C19. Squared pennant rubble and brick. Small
rectangular roofless building, with remains of flue attached at eastern corner,
brick arch over bob opening in north-west wall, various other openings, some
blocked. Formerly the winding engine house of Glassworks Pit and now one of the
few examples remaining in the coalfield.
