Farmhouse, now house. Early - mid C17, with later alterations and additions.
Rubble, rendered, plain interlocked tiled roof with crestings and brick ridge
stack, pantiled lean-to to left. 3-room plan. 2 storeys and 3 windows, ground
floor has two 3-light and two 2-light casements, all C20, to right formerly door,
small lean-to to right with single light and rubble lean-to to left. Left
return has 2-span roof, later block to left has ground and first floor 3-light
casement with segmental head; lean-to has re-set door frame, chamfered with
pointed arch and 1/2-glazed door. Right return has gable end of main range with
single light at first floor (formerly 2-light), gable end of rear block has
3-light casement with segmental head at ground and first floor, lean-to to right
with 4-light C20 casement. Rear of main range to left has heavy door with strap
hinges in moulded frame and 2-light C20 casement; rear of rear block has C20
flat-roofed glazed porch and 1/2-glazed inner door, similar door with strap hinges
and glazed panel to right in segmental-headed opening, 3-light casement with
segmental head above. Interior: room to left has framed ceiling in 4 bays with
fine moulded beams, central room has deep-chamfered beam. Rest of interior not
accessible.
