Farmhouse, now house. C16 origins, C.17, C.19 refacing, C20 extension.
Possibly a long house, adapted to a cross passage. Rendered, double roman tiled
roof, clay crestings, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 windows, irregular
fenestration, 2- and 3-light C19 casements, central C19 plank door. Interior:
end and central chimneys in wide bays, west end has bread oven, that at east has
adjacent newel stair, hall fireplace has chamfered lintel and large ornately
moulded shelf (possibly re-used from the parish church screen); hall has a step
and ogee moulded framed ceiling, north bay is plain suggesting an internal
buttery, outer room has stop chamfered beams; one partial plain cruck rises
