Farmhouse, now house. Early C18 with later alterations. Rubble, rendered and
scored as ashlar, stone dressings, pantiled roof with raised coped verges.
Symmetrical front. 2 storeys and 2 windows, 1st floor has 2 sashes in exposed
boxes and central recessed arch with reeded surround, impost blocks and keystone,
ground floor has two 16-pane sashes and central wrought iron and trellis porch
with barrel roof, 6-panelled door with fanlight and radial. glazing bars,
conservatory to left, parapet and coping; west elevation has 1st floor
rectangular window with gothic glazing bars. Rear has single storey wing,
varied C19 and C20 windows and ground floor 18-pane sash with thick glazing
bars with ovolo mouldings inside. Interior: front left room has cornice and
frieze, panelled cupboards to each side of C20 fireplace, arch to rear, ceiling
rose; hall has cornice and frieze. Originally known as Haw Farmhouse.
