Mid C18. Dated 1746 on a brick. 3 storeys, L-shaped plan, red brick parapet above
moulded stone and brick cornice. Symmetrically designed front of 5 windows, with
slightly projecting central part finished with pediment above; windows hung sashes
with glazing bars. Stone porch with Doric columns, entablature and pediment on
the road frontage. 2 windows on north front of west wing, 4 windows on west front
1:3, all sashes with glazing bars. Garden front of 2:3:2 windows, the centre projecting
with pediment. All sashes with glazing bars, arched on 1st floor, centre, arched
doorway below. Upped tile roofs mostly hidden behind parapets, brick stacks.
The interior includes a number of contemporary features, staircase, panelling, fireplaces
etc. Kitchen wing to left built 1860.
