Inn, dated 1622 on panel in stack, with continuous jetty to hall and two-bay cross-
wing underbuilt in colour-washed brick to street facade. Later two-storey extension
with hipped roof to right hand. Rendered timber-frame at first-floor. Plain tile
roofs. Large, red brick ridge stack, two side stacks to cross-wing. Two hung sash
windows with thick glazing bars at both floor levels of cross-wing. Four horizontal
sliding sash windows with glazing bars at both floor levels of main range.
Two modern doors.
Interior: Ovolo-moulded dragon beam and moulded and carved ceiling beam to cross-wing.
Two inglenook hearths. Wall-painting of panels divided by columns with central ball
pendants.
