Cottage. Late C17 with C19 rebuilding and alteration, C20 renovation. Timber
framed and roughcast rendered, some plastered clay bat, flint and tarred brick
foundations. Thatched and slated roofs. Red brick, rectangular planned ridge
stack to right of centre. Two storey main range with three unit lobby entry
plan and with two storey C19 rebuilding of former kitchen range to south
retaining original gable end stack. Rear outshuts include former dairy
outshut. Main entrance to left hand with glazed panelled door and C20 porch.
Four ground floor and three first floor C20 casement windows. Interior:
Exposed timber frame and floor frames, two open hearths with niches. Side
purlin roof with ridge piece and original torched plaster between rafters.
Early C18 two-panelled doors.
