House and shop. Late C17 with early C19 addition and late C19 alteration.
Timber framed and plastered, painted brick casing to timber frame or clay bat.
C20 ridge pantiles replacing original thatch, and slated hipped roof. Three
gault brick stacks. Two storey main range and rear range of one storey and
attic including one bay of a single storeyed building with roof raised.
Segmental arch to central C19 door with lower panel and glazed upper panel
with glazing bars; rectangular fanlight. Shop windows of three large fixed
lights to right and left hand. Two deeply recessed sixteen-paned hung sash
windows. Interior: Exposed timber frame and floor frames with two hearths
one to west a later addition c.1700, both with niches.
