Handed pair of houses. Mid C19. Gault brick and stucco dressings. Double
pitch, slate roof with end parapets on kneelers and end stacks to each range.
Double pile plan. Two storeys. Three bay facade divided by giant stuccoed
and rusticated pilaster strips with a band between the storeys. The centre
bay is recessed and has paired doorways with doorcases with entablatures on
enriched scroll console brackets. Above the doorways are two twelve pane hung
sashes flanked by engaged columns. The outer bays have at first floor a
sixteen pane hung sash each in stuccoed surrounds and, at ground floor, two
similar windows with moulded cornices on enriched scroll console brackets.
