Pair of cottages now a house. C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Timber-framed and plastered, weather boarded to sill height of first floor
windows in main elevation and painted. Thatched half-hipped roof.
Rectangular planned red brick ridge stack. Two storeys. Originally a handed
pair, two unit plan, with street entrances now blocked (RCHM) an inserted C20
entrance with panelled door in pedimented doorcase. C19 east gable outshut
rebuilt with C20 plain tiled roof replaciny pantiles. Five ground floor and
four first floor three-light casement windows with leaded lights. The
building may date from the village fire of 1798.
