Cottage. Late C15 with late C16 alterations and C19 rebuilding. Timber-
framed and plastered with low-pitched slated roof and flint and brick plinth
to window height. Partly plastered red brick ridge stack. Two storeys.
Original three bay open hall with inserted C16 stack and floor frame; C19
roof raised and divided into two dwellings. Main entrance sealed. Two
ground floor casement windows one projecting as small oriel and two first
floor horizontal sliding sash windows in segmental brick arches. Interior:
Exposed timber-frame with substantial floor frame and blocked doorway with a
curved brace at the angle. Large cambered tie beam to open hearth.
