Cottage. Late C16 and late C17 divided into four tenements c.1830.
Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roofs, half hipped to left hand. End
stack to left hand and two ridge stacks. One storey and attic original
building with three unit lobby entry plan, single storey kitchen arid service
rooms to north, partly altered in late C19 as a shop and now restored as one
dwelling. Entrance resited to right of centre with boarded door; four
ground floor casement windows, one eyebrow dormer window. Interior: exposed
timber-frame and floor frames with original hearths, some timber-frame
appears to either be reused or part of an earlier framed building on the
site.
