House. 1850. Gault brick and hipped, slate roof, boarded eaves and three
internal stacks. Double pile. Symmetrical facade of three sixteen pane hung
sashes with segmental arches and stone sills. Similar windows flank central
doorway with flat hood on shaped brackets, panelled reveals. Moulded
doorcase and flush panelled door with two small glazed upper panels. Below
the centre window at first floor is a stone panel, painted and inscribed
"South Sea House 1850".
