Farmhouse. Dated 1664, on plastered chimney plaque; alterations and
additions c.1860. Timber-framed with rough cast render. Modern plain tile
roof with apex finials. Tall, central ridge stack with moulded red brick
cornice, partly plastered and rebuilt. One storey and attics, two unit,
lobby entry plan with C19 rear kitchen wing built of Bourn great bricks.
Symmetrical facade with C19 two storey gabled porch, with shaped bargeboard
and finial and balustered lights, boarded and filleted door. Two ground
floor casement windows, one casement window above porch and two casement
dormer windows. Interior has sealed inglenook hearths, deep plaster frieze
(qv Bourn Hall) to south room, original bolection moulded doors, and boarded
doors; boxed ceiling beams.
