Early C18 origin, remodelled in 1820, L-shaped building in ashlar. Stone
slate roof. Stone gable ends. 2 stone chimney stacks at gable ends.
Small blocking course. Modillion cornice. 3 flat topped dormers, Gothic
leaded glazing. 3 windows, 2 of 3 lights, double hung sashes with glazing
bars, wood mullions, under flat moulded cornices supported on brackets.
The centre window is a double hung sash with glazing bars in a moulded
architrave. Band continues cills. On the ground floor, 2 canted 5-light
bays, double hung sashes with glazing bars. Stone plinth. 6 fielded door
with ornamental semi-circular fanlight in carved stone architrave with
triple keystone. Extension to rear of 2 storeys. Welsh slate roof.
Interior: - mainly C19, but one original fireplace.
Werrington House & Two Outbuildings to Werrington House form a group.
