Group of 7 cottages, early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof.
2 storeys. L-shaped block. Nos. 1 and 2 at right angles to Nos. 3 to 6 which
are double-pile. All are flat faced mullioned windows. Earliest build are Nos.
4 to 7: these each have doorway with sill tie to right of 5-light window all
altered to 2 wide lights either side of narrow light. The same to 1st floor.
Bays 1 and 2 (Nos. 7 and 6) retain all mullions. 4 stacks to this range.
No. 3 is added and has 4-light window with same over, gable stack. Doorway
for No. 3 is contained in wing at right angles for Nos. 1 and 2. Former taking-
in door to 1st floor now altered to 4-light window. Right hand return wall of 2
cells (for Nos. 1 and 2) each with doorway with sill tie and 3-light window with
one of 4 lights over to 1st floor. Stone gutter brackets. 2 stacks to ridge.
Rear of main range has 6 bays of 5-light flat faced mullioned windows to each
floor mostly preserving all mullions.
