Originally a farmhouse, early to mid C18. Local buff bricks. Steeply pitched plain tile roofs with outshut partly timber framed and rendered. Large gable stacks with brick bands. Two storeys with attics and basement; symmetrical facade. Brick band at first floor, and lacing timber below eaves possibly for original cornice. Five 'bays', two windows sealed at both floor levels. Three first floor cross-framed casement windows, one with original frame lightly moulded, in segmental arches, and two original three light, ground floor, casement windows. C19 open porch; door with four panels and one glazed panel. Interior details largely C19 with some C18 doors.
