1893-4. By Marshall. Brick buildings on the site of the Perse School
and incorporating the hall of circa 1600 (on account of which the item
is listed) with fine hammerbeam roof of five bays with pierced spandrel
decoration and enriched braces and pendants. The roof has been ceiled
below the rafters, and a floor inserted for the library.
