2. House. 1924. Designed by M H Baillie Scott. Rendered brick, with plain tile
roofs. 3 tall yellow brick stacks.2 storey. Garden front, 4 bays. Central 2 bays
project slightly and are topped with gables. To the left is a wooden splayed bay
window with iron casements and a flat leaded roof, to the right a small 2 light
wooden window with iron casements. Either side are single storey wings, that to
the left with a 5 light window and that to the right with a 4 light window, both
wooden with iron casements. Above each of these windows are single 4 light flat
headed dormers, also wooden with iron casements.
Interior.Contains all its original features including the fireplaces, doors,cup-
boards and moulded plaster cornices. The only altered rooms are the kitchen and
utility rooms which have recently been knocked through. The original plans and
drawings for this house are owned by Cambridge City Council.
