Hotel. Early C19. Red and vitreous brick, shallow plinth with
convex coping, wide panelled eaves. Slate roof, brick chimney to
left, another rebuilt to right. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the right with
gauged depressed arch over carriage entry, and 4-pane sash above.
Remainder double-fronted, the outer bays with 4 pane sashes, those to
ground floor renewed. Centre has arched radiating sash over door with
similar fanlight, flush panelled reveals and arched panelled hood on
brackets. All windows have gauged heads and C20 louvred shutters. Small
rear wing of flint with brick dressings and barred horizontal sliding
sashes to first floor. C20 brick block to far end of rear wing.
