House, with attached outbuildings converted to studios. Early
C19. Flint with brick dressings, hipped slate roof, brick chimneys.
Double pile. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Off-set plinth, first floor
band-course, flat eaves. 4-pane sash windows to outer bays,
3-pane sash to centre of first floor over 4-panelled door. Segmental
heads to openings. Right side (to road), has 2 bays of 4-pane sashes.
Rear has 3-pane sash to first floor, large 3-light horizontal-sliding
sash to ground floor, and flush-panelled door to left. Projecting
single storey range, now studios, with old board door to left, 3
stable doors, 3 windows, 2 gabled dormers, and corrugated plastic
skylight. Home of the artist John Piper since 1930s.
