Two barns adjacent to N.W. of
Ham Farmhouse

Two barns in L-plan range. Mid-late C18. Timber frame and weatherboard,
flint and brick plinths, old tile roofs. N. barn is of 4 bays with
gabled projection, formerly cart entry to third bay. Slatted windows.
Cart doors in W. gable. W. barn is of 5 bays with board door in
central gabled projection, cart doors opposite to rear, and C20 opening in
left bay. 2 lower C19-C20 brick and flint bays at S. end. C20 shelter in
angle with N. barn. Rough timbering with raking and curved queen posts
trusses and later slender braces to ties. Included for group value.
