A small 2-storey house, late C17 and later, of very compact design. Plaster covered
front, steep early tiled roof, 2 hipped dormers with sash windows. 4 two-light
casement windows to 1st floor and 2 wide squat sash windows with many panes to
the ground floor. Central entrance low doorway with a simply moulded wooden case
and a small flat hood. Door of 6 fielded panels, set in Regency doorway with reeded
surround. Gabled extension to rear.
Nos 79, 81, 81A, 83 and 87 to 103 (odd) form a group of which Nos 99 and 101 are
of local interest only.
