First chapel of 1657 rebuilt 1823 some of the old building including a wooden window
frame being kept in vestry. Enlarged 1935. 2 storey gable end to street. 3 windows.
Red brick with yellow brick diaper. Stone dressings, bands over 1st and 2nd floors,
segmental arch over date plaque (also stone) and kneelers. Round headed windows
with glazing bars. Ground floor has round headed window of coloured glass with
marginal glazing flanked by 2 round headed doorways with fanlights and round-headed
panelling - all now masked by recent 3 window narthex. Double modillion (brick)
cornice at sides. Straight forward interior with C17 pulpit and gallery at south-east
end. 1935 block, brick with stone dressings to north-east.

The Baptist Church and Nos 7 to 9 (consec) Horsefair Green form a group.
