In a wooded dell west of the house, an early C18 underground octagonal chamber
with walls faced in knapped flints and ornamented with pebbles in chalice,
circular and diamond motifs. Vaulted roof with oculus and arrow motif decoration.
Fireplace; pebble floor with arrow pattern. Remains of circular forecourt with
sunken paths. Brick vaulted chamber below.
