Formerly known as Woodside. 1896-7 by C E Kempe for Adeline Marie, widow of
lath Duke of Bedford. House of 2 storeys in red brick. Tiled roof with curved
Dutch gables. Mullion and transom leaded casements. Brick chimneys with diagonally
set flues. Wooden gateway semi-circular roof supported on consoles. Partly walled
front garden. Garden seat on south elevation below dentilled hood on carved
modillion brackets. Attached garden room with open colonnade front with Doric
columns in antis.
