C16 timber-framed house of two bays and one and a half storeys. Modern left hand bay. Brick faced ground floor, brick infill to exposed framing upper floor, colourwashed. Old tile roof. Modern casements. Gabled first floor windows. C17 lateral stack at rear. Hipped roofed one and a half storey extension of c1980 on left. Two dormers at rear. Right hand bay formerly open to roof as open hall with smoke blackened roof timbers. Curved purlin braces.

Interior has chamfered and stopped spine beams. Tension braces between posts and bressummers.
