Barn. Tie-beam dated "WH 1743"; later alterations and additions. Timber frame
on brick plinth with weatherboard and brick cladding; plain tile roof. 5 bays.
Central opposing cart-entries, that at front having gabled midstray with brick
infill to returns and flanked by added outskirts which are of brick in Flemish
bond and have stable doors and stepped dentilled eaves. Left return is of
orangey brick in irregular bond with early C20 garage doors and loading door
to gable. Interior: jewelled wall posts with arch braces (some removed) to
tie-beams; wide wall framing panels with straight braces; queen strut roof
trusses; clasped purloins intermediate collars; old rafters; later plank ridge.
Truss to right of cart entry has dated tie-beam and collar above is dated "WHW 1855".
Attached farm buildings at front and back are not included in listing.
