Large Victorian Gothic mansion, local slate with sandstone dressing. 2
storeys, clustered diagonal chimneys. Some 2-storeyed bay windows. All
windows with stone mullions, mostly with arched and cusped lights (some
ogee lights in bay windows). Elaborate doorway with a pointed arch, carved
spandrels, label with heads on finials, and carved parapet/frieze. Lakeside
facade is asymmetrical, with an oriel and 2 bay windows.
