Known from Middle Ages, dried out in the drought of 1788. Well house, C17.
Old red brick; hand made tile roof with gable ends. Small structure 6 ft x
6 ft approximately. Board door with large wrought iron hinges and wooden
lintels. The well perhaps relined above the water line in C19.
