1903-4 by C R Ashbee. Small house in manner of Voysey. Whitewashed roughcast
with imitation slate pyramid roof and central brick stack. Square plan with
rear extension by Ashbee. One storey and attic. Flat topped leaded light
dormers to 3 sides, 7-light to front and north side, 6-light to south. Sloping
buttresses to corners and pair to centre of each front. West front with plank
door and 2-light leaded window to centre, 2-light and single light windows to
left and small larder window to right. South side door and single light to
centre and trellised porch, 4-light and 3-light windows flanking. Rear exten-
sion with end wall stack flanked by 2-light windows. Door, 3-light and 5-light
south side windows. Flat topped long dormers each side. C R Ashbee: "A Book of
