Public house. Mid C18, altered. Brick, partly chequered with blue
headers, first floor band course and irregular vertical recessed
strips. Thatched roof, flanking brick chimneys. 1½ storeys, 3 bays.
Irregular casements, 3-light flanking 2-light. Ground floor outer windows
are C20 with wooden glazing bars; upper left window is leaded; other first
floor windows have plain glazing in old frames. Board doors between right
bays and to left, the latter in lean-to timber porch with slate roof.
Stone sundial with semi-spherical hollow between left bays. C19
extensions of brick with slate roofs to left.
