House. C17, altered mid C18. Rear wall of front range is timber framed,
remainder rebuilt in coursed rubble stone with first floor band course.
Old tile roof, central chimney of thin brick. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bay
fenestration. 4-pane sash windows, mostly replaced C20. Ground floor
of right bays is irregular with 4-pane sash flanked by fixed barred
windows. Central 6-panel door, top-lit, in wooden frame with cornice
hood on shaped brackets, the leading of the hood dated 177?. Gables have old
3-light leaded attic casements. Brick lean-to to rear with barred
iron casements,one in a gabled dormer, Range of single storey brick and
weatherboard outbuildings, now incorporated into house, at right-angles
to rear of right bays. Interior: C17-C18 winder stair in line with entry
and stack; stop chamfered spine beams; old board doors; moulded surround to
left gable window.
