House. Mid C17, repaired C20. Thin brick, mostly in stretcher bond,
with first floor band course and brick pilasters. Coursed rubble
stone plinth with moulded brick coping. S.W. wing and N.W. side much
rebuilt in C19-C20 brick and part whitewashed. Hipped old tile roofs,
thin brick chimney with pilaster to centre of N.E. range. H-plan
with short central bar. One storey and attic, N.E. side of 2½ bays.
Central half-bay, originally a lobby entry, has projection with rebuilt
semi-circular gable. Leaded casements, all renewed C20. Ground floor
has cross casement with segmental head to left, another to centre in
blocked doorway, and a 4-light transomed casement to right. Paired
casements to attic, those to outer bays in eaves-line dormers with
rebuilt brick gables. C20 door in central recess in S.E. side. Timber
frame and weatherboard outbuilding attached to rear wing is now
incorporated in house. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams and
one moulded stone fireplace with 4-centred arch.
