TL 50 SW BOBBINGWORTH EPPING ROAD
4/6 'Bilsdens Farmhouse'

GV II

House of several builds and complex plan, now forming a square plan. A rear
wing of C15/16 with crownpost roof structure, with the C18 front range brick
clad and painted. The older core was probably part of the original Manor House.
Timber framed and plastered with the red plain tiled roof hipped to left. 2
storeys. 5 window range of Cl9 vertical sliding sash windows. Central Cl9
half-glazed door with gabled red tiled, brick porch. There are several C17
iron casement windows, and exposed timber and chamfered beams internally. One
of the 3 red brick chimney stacks has an inscribed C18 date.
