Station and Station Master's House c1865/66. Originally Great Eastern Railway
on line from Epping to Ongar, and used as a Halt for Blake Hall. Red brick
built with gault dressings. Grey slate roofs. House of 2 storeys, 3 window
range of ¼ pane vertical sliding sashes with segmental heads, stone cills with
block supports. Rusticated quoins. Eaves band and two centre bands. 3 red
brick chimney stacks. Ticket office/station house at rear, in matching
materials with central door with light over and windows to right and left.
½ hipped roof and red brick chimney stack to right.
