Built early C16. C17 wing at rear. 2 storeys, cellars, timber framed
and plastered, the roofs tiled. The upper storey projects on the front
on brackets - one original curved, one late Cl6 shaped. The timber
framing is exposed and there are five 2-light original windows (now blocked)
under the eaves with moulded frames and mullions. Other windows are C18
and C19 and the ground floor has 2 small shop hay windows. The chief feature
of the front is the fine C16 door of 12 moulded panels with lozenge
shaped enrichment in each panel.
