Barn. Late C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron. 4
bays aligned E-W with midstrey to S, and lean-to extensions each side of
midstrey. Formerly aisled to the N only, with arched braces to arcade plate,
now infilled with later studding. Face-halved and bladed scarfs. Arched braces
to 2 tiebeams, others replaced by bolted knees. Pegged hardwood frame with
primary straight bracing. Clasped purlin roof. Partly concreted at base of
walls.
