Cottage. C17, altered in C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Three bays facing south east with axial stack at left end. C19 one-bay extension to left, C19 single-storey extension to right. Two storeys. South east elevation, three C20 casements and one small C19 casement on ground floor, two C20 casements on first floor. Two half-glazed doors. South west gable end (towards road) one C19 horizontal sash of sixteen lights on first floor, no aperture on ground floor.
In right ground floor room of main building, chamfered axial beam with lamb's tongue stops, and plain joists of vertical section. In left ground floor room of main building, chamfered transverse beam and chamfered joists of horizontal section, both with lamb's tongue stops. Large wood-burning hearth facing to right, much altered in C20. Primary straight bracing.
