House, C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade
red clay tiles. 4 bays aligned E-W with axial chimney stack in second bay from
E end, C18 rear wing from W bay. 2 single-storey extensions in NE angle, both
forming catslide roofs. 2 storeys. 4-panel door in C20 porch, 4 casement
windows on ground floor, 3 on first floor, and another in gabled dormer, all
C20. 2 grouped diagonal shafts on chimney stack. The interior has exposed
studding in the N wall, chamfered axial and transverse beams with lamb's tongue
stops, and plain joists of horizontal section. RCHM 7.
