TL 71 NE WHITE NOTLEY FAMBRIDGE HALL LANE

GV II

House. C18 with earlier rear wings and C19 brick rear wing. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. 2 rear red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys
and attics and large cellar probably of C18 and C19 builds. Red tiled single
storey extensions to right and left rear. 5 window range of C18 small paned
vertically sliding sashes in moulded surrounds excepting first floor centre
which is a matching window with a round head. Central 2 panel 4 light door.
C20 pedimented porch with fluted columns. The raised step with cellar
ventilator to rear. Interior features include central stick balusters to open
dogleg staircase, wreathed handrail following through to landing. Marble
surrounds with mouldings to dining room and lounge fireplaces. Moulded
architraves, wainscots etc. English bond brickwork to part of cellar and
klompje brick floors.
