Cottage. C19, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, front pitch of roof
thatched, remainder of corrugated asbestos. L-plan with wings exending SE and
SW, facing SE, with internal stack. Single-storey rear extension. One storey
with attics. 2 C20 sashes on ground floor, one on first floor. 4-panel door in
slated lean-to canopy. Monogram RB (for Ruggles-Brise) on oval plaque on front
gable. Listed for Group Value.
