6/14 Sallets Farmhouse

GV II

House, late C14 small hall house, incorporating remains of small late C13 aisled
hall. Timber framed and plastered with thatched half hipped roof, raised at
north end. 1 storey and attics. 2 window range C20 casements. C13 arcade
posts have moulded capitals and the base of arcade bracing survives. Late C16
inserted first floor, in C14 open hall, and original C14 floored ends. Jowled
posts, and cambered tie beam.
