Granary, cart lodge, stable and barn. C17/18. An 'L' plan group with C17 granary
at north end with black weatherboarding, an old pargetted south wall on high plinth
and pegtile roof. This was formerly almost a pyramid but now continues across the
adjoining cartlodge. The roof has 2 closely spaced principal rafter pairs each
with long arch bracing to the collars. The early C19 cartlodge is black weatherboaded
and the front posts have shaped knees. The roof is of the typical King post truss
type. The stable on the southern range is of English bond red brick with a pantile
roof and door and window on north side. The barn has a half hipped pegtile roof,
black weatherboarding, a high brick plinth and doors to ground floor and hay loft
over. The east wall of this also retains old herringbone pargetting.
