A range of C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered houses. No 42 was rebuilt
in the C19 in red brick and gabled on front, 2 storeys, Nos 44 to 48 (even)
are 1 storey and attics. Nos 42 to 46 have double-hung sashes with glazing
bars and No 48 has a C20 shop front and casements. Roofs tiled, with 5
flat headed dormers.

Nos 42 to 48 (even) form a group with No 7 (Woolpack Inn).
Also Nos 42 to 48 (even) form a group with Nos 1 and 3, Nos 22 ro 40 (even)
and No 18 and Smithy, Nos 20 to 30 (even) the Parish Church of St Nicholas
and the Vicarage, Chippinghill.
