A late C18 timber-framed and plastered house, now pebble-dashed on front in
panels. 3 storeys and cellars. 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in flush cased frames, A 6-panel door with the upper panels glazed has
a blocked semi-circular headed fanlight and a wood doorcase with pilasters and
an open pediment. Roof slate. The interior has an C18 staircase.
All the listed buildings from No 19 to No 41 on the west side and
No 4 to No 20 on the east side form a group with Bawn Cottage, Bawn Close.
Also the listed buildings from No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A)
